A prestigious and highly prolific automotive OEM based in Dunton Essex has a contract position for a Development/ Project Manager- Hybrid Team to work alongside its Hybrid team within the Electrical/ Electronic Engineering Department.
Position Title: Development/ Project Manager- Hybrid Team
Pay Rate: £24.00p/h (ltd)
Position Description:
The Development/ Project Manager- Hybrid Team duties will include:
Lead development and maintenance of Micro-Hybrid system-level FMA work:
- Quality History Analysis
- FMA Planning
- Robustness
- Design FMEA
- Process FMEA
- Design Validation & Production Validation
- Robustness Demonstration Matrix (RDM) robustness
- Lead development and maintenance of Micro-Hybrid system
- Lead development and maintenance of Micro-Hybrid system Design Verification Methods in SETk
- Interface with subsystems (Powertrain, HMI, and Power Supply)
Skills Required:
The Development/ Project Manager- Hybrid Team will require the following skills:
- Six-Sigma toolset (Robustness analysis, DFMEA, P-Diagrams)
- Experience of DOORS, SETk, eFDVS software tools
- Advanced engineering mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Hybrid technologies an advantage
- Knowledge of Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
Proven Ability Required:
The successful candidate for the Development/ Project Manager- Hybrid Team will need to have the following proven ability:
- Experience of electronic/electrical engineering or automotive control systems.
- Experience of hybrid powertrain technologies.
Education Required:
The successful candidate for the Development/ Project Manager- Hybrid Team will need to have had the following education:
Bsc / MSc / MEng in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent

The Development/ Project Manager- Hybrid Team role is based in Dunton Essex, which is commutable from much of the South East of England including London and Kent, making it an ideal place to live and work, with excellent public facilities on the doorstep.
