You must be time served with C + G level 3 in HGV or LGV mechanics. You will be responsible for the service and repair of the HGV units and trailers, as well as preparing them for MOTs. A class one licence is desired although not essential, as funding is available to candidates who meet the other requirements.

This role will involve working a 2 shift system, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, and regular overtime is available. The early shift is paid at £11 per hour and the evening shift is paid at £14.63. Regular overtime is available and candidates can realistically expect to earn £30k+.
