As Marine Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for installation assessment and sign off, ensuring adherence to required standards, as well as completing first engine start and sea trials, collecting and analysing data. Liaising with customers and engine manufacturers is also part of the Marine Commissioning Engineer role.
Ideally qualified to degree level (2:1 minimum), in Automotive, Mechanical or Control Systems Engineering with a Masters degree or PhD encouraged, the Marine Commissioning Engineer should have an appreciation of engines and the development of new powertrain technologies as well as good organisation and communication skills with the ability to work as part of an international team.
