As Plant & Production Engineer you will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of engine manufacturing equipment, engine assembly lines and manufacturing processes, as well as providing cost reduction analyses, and improving manufacturing and assembly line processes regarding cost and efficiency. You will also provide technical consultation for local customers.
You should be qualified to degree level in mechanical engineering/production engineering with relevant production experience. You must have good knowledge of engines or transmission manufacturing, with experience of the planning of manufacturing and assembly line concepts. Knowledge of quality management (QA light ideal) is essential and you should have a basic knowledge of engine or transmission development.
