An extensive client base and high levels of growth mean that a vacancy now exists for a Production Technician, Amber Production to join one of the world leaders in the development of engine and vehicle technology.

As Production Technician, you will be responsible for the building of a complex supercar transmission system, including the assembly of transmission products and the disassembly of and investigation of development units. You will also be required to perform end-of-line tests on all products, including fault-finding and rectification, and to provide in-field services to customers as required.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar environment carrying out the assembly and fault-finding of complex, high precision mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. Precision measurement from first principles using manual measurement equipment will also be part of the role.

You are likely to have served a recognised apprenticeship scheme and also possess GCSE’s in Mathematics and English. Further vocational qualification would be advantageous.

This role would suit someone who has worked in the Automotive, Aerospace, Rail or Military environment providing you can prove your skills in working with complex engineering.
